About Us
Learn about the heart of Two Wheel Campus
The mission that got us here, and the team that made it happen.

Our Story
Established in 2025, Two Wheel Campus Ltd. is a community-centred project that aims to make cycling more accessible to Loughborough Locals as well as Students and Staff at Loughborough University.

Originally a one-man band, with Founder Joe Ward selling restored bicycles and providing bike repair to Students at Lboro Uni; Two Wheel Campus has expanded into a multi-trade operation with an ever-increasing member count.

Wanting to share their passion for bicycle repair, the TWC team launched the Lboro 'Mechanics Club', leading regular sessions and sharing wisdom to members of their community. Helping those with no prior experience find their feet, and seasoned mechanics take their skills to new heights - Mechanics Club is a backbone of the project's ethos.

The idea for Lboro Polo was born beneath London Bridge, in a small Skater's bar called 'Hop Kingdom'. Crossing paths with local legend 'Beagle' from London Bike Polo, Joe was inspired to bring the Urban Sport to Loughborough. With generous donations from our friends at London, Sheffield, and Birmingham Bike Polo Clubs, Lboro Polo became an established member of the British Bike Polo scene - joining a community spanning all corners of the globe.

Looking to the future, the team aim to create a community that reaches further than just bikes. We're looking to create a place where memories are made, friendships can flourish, and sport can be used as a means of positive action.
